By supporting New York State YMCA Funds, Inc. you are supporting Young Men's Christian Associations within New York State. Our purpose is to assist their services and activities in helping all people, regardless of age, sex, race or religion, to develop in mind, body and spirit. We desire to improve the quality of life in New York State through the services and principles of the YMCA movement.
There are 45 YMCAs in New York State with a total of over 120 branches. Many operate resident and overnight camps, offering children an invaluable experience. Every year, YMCAs across New York State provide care for over 500,000 children and teens. Programs such as Youth and Government empower teens to make a difference in their communities. YMCAs also continually promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles for people of all ages.
